A renowned mathematician has warned that the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination data being released by British agencies is either misleading or outright false.
Norman Fenton, a professor of risk and information management in the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at the Queen Mary University of London, made this warning during an interview with Brian Gerris and Debi Evans of UK Column.
This is not the first time Fenton has raised concerns regarding the official data the British government was publishing regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. He was one of the first people in the United Kingdom to find out that the COVID-19 infection rate worldwide was far greater than being reported, but the probability that someone infected would die from the disease was being massively exaggerated. According to Fenton, the data being released by different British agencies regarding COVID-19 vaccines differ significantly. The Office for National Statistics (ONS), the main statistics office of the British government, has different data regarding vaccines than the U.K. Health Security Agency (UKHSA).
Both agencies disagree on the number of adults in the U.K. who are unvaccinated. The ONS claimed only around eight percent of adults in the country are unvaccinated, while the UKHSA estimated that around 20 percent of adults are still unvaccinated.
“If [the ONS] has got that type of bias in the estimate of the number of unvaccinated, then any data that you’re putting out, which claims to show the vaccine’s safety and effectiveness, if you’re underestimating the portion of unvaccinated, then it completely skews that data in favor of the vaccine being safe and effective,” noted Fenton.
One of the latest reports from the UKHSA shows that there are 18.9 million people in England who are eligible for vaccination but still remain unvaccinated.
Furthermore, the data indicates that around 2.6 million people in the U.K. are partially vaccinated and have refused to take the second dose, and another 8.8 million people are fully vaccinated and have refused to take the third dose.
Taking into account the partially vaccinated who changed their minds about the vaccines, this means there are around 21.5 million people in the U.K. who are not fully vaccinated. Including the 8.8 million who have not gotten the booster vaccine doses, there are 30.3 million people who are not triple vaccinated.
With this additional data, around 30 percent of the population of England is completely unvaccinated, 34 percent is not fully vaccinated and about 50 percent is not triple vaccinated.
Official government data, which is being accepted as fact by mainstream British media outlets, claims that there are only around five million unvaccinated people in England.
Fenton noted that the UKHSA’s data regarding the number of unvaccinated people in the U.K. may actually be an underestimation, strongly suggesting that there are more unvaccinated people in the country.
