False narratives are designed to make people feel powerless, according to author and political consultant Floyd Brown.
“These false narratives are intended to do one thing: to make you feel powerless,” he told Ann Vandersteel during the April 5 episode of her program “Right Now with Ann Vandersteel” on Brighteon.TV. “They want us to feel powerless against them so that we’re frozen, [so] that we’re fearful and we won’t do anything.”
Brown, who founded the Western Journal back in 2008, said he had to work through the different false narratives Americans had to deal with to help them understand what has been happening in the country. (Related: The dominance of America’s false narratives.)
“We are in the midst of a color revolution. In fact, I believe there was a coup; the coup happened on Jan. 6. They claim that [former President Donald] Trump tried to launch an insurrection,” he told Vandersteel.
“That’s a false narrative; and in fact, they themselves engaged in a coup. As we now know, they didn’t have a quorum when they made Joe Biden president. So, there are serious questions that need to be answered.”
Brown urged Americans to be involved in order to counter these false narratives. He also called on Americans to get involved at the local level of politics – whether it’s at school boards, town councils or sheriff’s departments.
“We need to be out with our neighbors. We need to be having coffee with them, talking to them, communicating with them, telling them about what we think and [finding] out what they think,” said the Western Journal‘s founder.
“We need to be occupying right where we’re at and that’s how we change America. Let’s protect our communities first, and then let’s retake the country – town by town, city by city, county by county. And then we’ll worry about states and Washington, D.C.”
Brown pointed out that the Left has weaponized the judicial system, adding that Trump and millions of Americans are of the same sentiment that unjust prosecution is happening. Vandersteel agreed, expressing belief that Americans are now seeing the truth and the patriots are ready to take action.
He also lauded Trump’s “fabulous” post-arraignment speech in his Mar-a-Lago home. The former president touched on the Democrats spying on his campaign, the Russiagate hoax and the attacks on his friend and National Security Advisor Gen. Michael Flynn.
According to Brown, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) entrapped Flynn and tried to manipulate him into pleading guilty to certain charges in order to protect his son. Brown pointed out that what the FBI did to the former general was an early example of the weaponization of people connected to Trump – which has since escalated.
“If they can do this to him, they can do it to you. They can do it to me, they can do it everyone that’s listening. They know our politics based on our social media history, our email, when they read our phone calls which they listen to. So they know where we stand,” Brown said.
“Literally, these people are functioning Marxists – and Marxists don’t mind eliminating the people that they have opposition to.”
