The vast majority of the 667 wildfires that have thus far been identified as having erupted across the nation of Greece in recent weeks were started “by human hand,” meaning global warming and climate change have absolutely nothing to do with the situation.
A senior climate crisis official in Greece confirmed this after climate fanatics started trying to blame gas-powered cars and people who eat meat for the fires, claiming a 15-day heatwave that struck the country is a direct result of climate change.
It turns out that arsonists are behind most of the fires, most of which could have been prevented, the Greek government confirmed.
“During this time 667 fires erupted, that is more than 60 fires a day, almost all over the country,” said Vassilis Kikilias, the Greek minister of climate crisis and civil protection, to reporters.
“Unfortunately, the majority were ignited by human hand, either by criminal negligence or intent.”
Even despite these admissions, some climate cultists are insisting that arson is not the cause of the fires. They insist they know better than the Greek government, which is apparently just in climate denial.
“The difference with other years were the weather conditions,” Kikilias added. “Climate change, which yielded a historic and unprecedented heatwave, is here. There were very few days where the extreme weather was not combined with strong winds.”
(Related: The fires that destroyed some of America’s food infrastructure were also the result of criminal arson rather than climate change.)
In the real world, a slight uptick in average temperatures as it occurred in Greece during the first few weeks of July is no big deal. Temperatures have been fluctuating since the beginning of time, it turns out, and warmer years do not necessarily equate to more wildfires unless conditions are exceptionally dryer than normal.
Even so, man-made climate change has nothing to do with either the temperature fluctuations or the wildfires, though climate cultists will continue to claim otherwise to back their fraudulent narrative.
There were massive heatwaves back in the 1930s, for instance, long before man-made climate change was even a term that people used. And there were also wildfires in the 1930s just as there are today.
The irony, too, is that climate cultists oppose the clearing out of dead brush from forests, a form of wilderness management that is necessary to keep wildfires from burning out of control.
Wildfires are normal, by the way. They keep forests “clean” while producing more nutrients for soils and supporting the growth of new forest trees and plants. Wildfires become a problem when they burn out of control, which is what happens when proper forest management protocols are ignored.
California is guilty of failing to “rake” its forests, as former President Donald Trump famously stated. The media made fun of him for it, but he was right: Raking the forests more would do a whole lot of good to keep California from burning to a crisp every year during the warmer, dryer months.
Then there is the inconvenient little fact that wildfires are not even on the rise as claimed by the climate lunatics. It turns out that the number of global wildfires is actually decreasing over time, which completely debunks the associated claims about climate change.
“It gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter,” one commenter joked. “All else is BS!”
“Worshipping and paying homage to the weather is insane,” wrote another about how the climate cult is morbidly obsessed with and scared about shifting weather patterns somehow being the result of global warming.
