In a recent post on his Truth Social tech platform, former President Donald Trump promised his supporters that, if reelected in 2024, he will go after MSNBC and NBC News for committing “country-threatening treason.”
Trump wrote that the media “are almost all dishonest and corrupt, but Comcast, with its one-side and vicious coverage by NBC NEWS, and in particular MSNBC, often and correctly referred to as MSDNC (Democrat National Committee), should be investigated for its ‘Country Threatening Treason.'”
Trump is really upset about how these particular media networks treated him, including with their spread of “the now fully debunked SCAM known as Russia, Russia, Russia and much else.” In his view, these media networks exist to create a “big campaign contribution” to Democrats.
Assuming himself to already be the winner of the 2024 presidential election, Trump went on in a rant to criticize the “Lamestream Media,” which he says will be “thoroughly scrutinized” for their “dishonest and corrupt” coverage of him and his family once he reenters the White House in early 2025.
“I say up front, openly and proudly, that when I WIN the Presidency of the United States, they and others of the LameStream Media will be thoroughly scrutinized for their knowingly dishonest and corrupt coverage of people, things and events,” Trump wrote.
“Why should NBC, or any other of the corrupt & dishonest media companies, be entitled to use the very valuable Airwaves of the USA, FREE?”
In the conclusion of his post, Trump wrote that the media outlets who made up stories about him “are a true threat to Democracy and are, in fact, THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!”
“The Fake News Media should pay a big price for what they have done to our ounce great Country!” Trump concluded.

Pretty much every time he speaks, Trump is calling out corruption as it pertains to himself, his family and his own personal interests, but what about the interests of Americans?
While it is certainly true that the corrupt media is lying left and right, it is perhaps more important at the current time to address things like inflation, the rise of artificial intelligence (AI), the loss of job opportunities because of AI, the broken supply chains, and other pertinent issues that everyday people are dealing with.
Wide-awake Americans have long since abandoned fake news networks like MSNBC and NBC News and simply choose not to watch them. Railing on and on about them online, or even efforts to investigate their fake news reporting, is not necessarily a top priority when one is having trouble putting food on the table.
The other side of the coin is that these same fake news networks are responsible for the stolen 2020 election, which one might argue makes Trump’s focus on investigating them a top priority for everyone. What do you think?
“The media is damn near public enemy #1 and should pay the price for that when the time comes – along with all the other treasonous scumbags in the deep state,” one commenter wrote in support of Trump’s Truth Social post.
“We have had nothing but investigations,” wrote another, seemingly upset at Trump’s seemingly misplaced priorities.
“They have accomplished nothing so far. How about some referrals to the DOJ for prosecution since Congress cannot prosecute? Oh yeah, then the DOJ would just do nothing. Fire everyone and start over.”
